The most egg-cellent sandwich ever!

Simple ingredients does not mean boring sandwiches! Japanese Egg Sandwich Ingredients: - 3 soft boiled eggs, peeled - 1 1/2 tbsp. mayonnaise - 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard - 2 sliced sandwich bread - 1 cup shredded cabbage (wilted with a pinch of salt) *** optional - salt and pepper to taste how to: - chop 1 egg and combine with mayo, mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl - spread over a bread slice, top with the remaining 2 whole egg - top with wilted cabbage - cover with remaining bread slice pressing slightly to hold the shape. - slice and serve

Deviled Eggs to You!

I know I am a few days late of an easter recipe experiment but today I finally made Deviled Eggs! I first read about these in a children's book where the spunky heroine gave herself the nickname Deviled Egg when a school rival called her an egghead. I never really did give much thought to it back then until I learned to check out recipes from online cookbooks. It is a very simple recipe than can turn your boring hard boiled eggs into something fancy enough to serve at dinner parties. Most recipes called for cayenne pepper but since I don't have them I just sprinkled some chopped spring onions and crushed chili flakes for a bit of heat and flavor. ... I guess nothing beats waking up to the smell of a hearty breakfast on a weekend. With the scent of bacon, eggs, fried rice and coffee wafting and enticing you out of bed after more that eight hours of well deserved sleep who would not have a great day ahead!?! ... last friday (weekends in Abu Dhabi, UAE or in the Middle East for that matter is on friday and saturday as opposed to saturday and sunday in other parts of the world) in an attempt to put a twist on the standard morning fare, I decided to make a breakfast 'muffin'.
